New trackway system launched at EHS

02 February 2016

Ground-Guards has launched a new trackway system at UK rental equipment exhibition the Executive Hire Show – MaxiTrack mats.

The manufacturer said the new product followed its MultiTrack mats, which it said were used throughout the construction industry for temporary access roads and carparks.

The new MaxiTrack mats were said to be 2.5 times as rigid as the standard mats, and have an overlapping lipped joining system for mud suppression and coping with heat expansion.

By using smaller 1.8m x 0.9m mats with a thicker 25mm core, Ground-Guards said the weight of the new mats had been kept to 40kg.

Alternatively, it said the mats could be kept joined in fours, and craned into position as 3.6m x 1.8m mats.

The 10th annual Executive Hire Show is taking place on the 10th and 11th February, 2016, at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, UK.
