Italian rental company Mandalà Noleggi has taken delivery of three new Ragno spider lifts from Palazzani.

Mandalà, which has been operating across the Palermo and Sicily regions for over 30 years, added both XTJ32 and XTJ37 models along with the manufacturer’s new XTJ43+ platform.

While the 320m XTJ32 offers an outreach of 14.3m and is equipped with a 33kg basket, the XTJ37 offers working heights ranging from -5m to 37m, an arm rotation is 660 degrees and the company’s area manager monitoring system.

In addition to having many of the same features as the XTJ37, the rental company’s new XTJ43+ spider also an outreach of 18m and a greater working height.

According to Palazzani, the versatility offered by the models’ telescopic jibs, which enable operators to easily navigate obstacles, was a key factor in the rental firm’s purchase decision.

Mandalà ordered the three new platforms through its local dealer Sorbello. Designed for work in narrow and difficult spaces, the machines will be primarily used by customers working Sicily’s intricate urban areas.
