Peri reports a successful Bauma

04 May 2010

Despite the affect of the flight ban over Europe Peri was able to welcome more than 100000 visitors to its stand and celebrate winning a EuroTest Prize 2010

Visitors to the stand were able to look at the systems in more detail and to experience their applications through numerous live demonstrations. Peri said that new product developments in both the scaffolding and formwork areas generated a lot of interest

For the first time the exhibition area also included presentations on a selection of Peri services for formwork and scaffolding. Engineers and experts from the individual specialist departments presented technical, logistic and commercial services with which Peri customers are supported ranging from the offer phase through to the project conclusion and beyond.

During the fair, Peri was awarded the EuroTest Prize 2010 for its Gridflex slab formwork. The EuroTest Prize is awarded in honour of outstanding achievements by companies, organizations and individuals in the field of occupational safety and machine safety. The awards committee said that the aluminium grid slab formwork "increases productivity but along with ensuring a significant increase of health and safety levels in the workplace."
