Potain cranes build LNG tank

South Korean construction equipment rental company Sunheung Corporate has supplied three Potain MC 310 K12 cranes to work on a liquefied natural gas (LNG) tank at the Boryeong LNG Terminal in South Chungcheong, South Korea.
The terminal is co-owned by SK E&S and GS Energy. When completed, it will feature three LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 200 million litres each. There will also be a 45,000 tonne liquefied petroleum gas tank and a re-gasification plant inside the facility.
The MC 310 K12 has a maximum capacity of 12 tonnes, a maximum radius of 70 metres, and can lift up to 3.2 tonnes at its jib end. The cranes were supplied to Sunheung Corporate by Korea International Limited (KIL), the exclusive Potain distributor for South Korea.
