Powerlift takes on ATN range

04 February 2010

UK access platform distributor Powerlift was showing an ATN Piaf 810 tracked, vertical mast machine with jib at the Executive Hire Show held in the first week of February. Powerlift added the ATN range of equipment to its offering in January and will sell the complete range, which includes the Piaf machines and the Zebra articulated boom with a scissor range anticipated.

The Piaf 810 is a two man lift, which can work up to a height of 8.1m with an outreach of 3m. A footprint of 1.8m and turret rotation of a non continuous 220o means the Piaf 810 can fit into small spaces. The gradeability of 30% combined with a low centre of gravity and rubber tracks creates a stable machine, even on uneven ground.

ATN specialises in machines for the rental environment, which provide a long working life. Bearing this out ATN offers a two year warranty on standard components such as electrical, hydraulic and motorisation and a five year structural warranty.

ATN's range includes the Piaf 880R and Piaf 1000R with 8.8 m and 10 m working height, both are driven by non-marking rubber tyres. The Zebra 12 is a rough terrain 4x4 articulated boom, giving a 12.2 m working height and a 8.5m horizontal outreach.

The adoption of the ATN products follows Powerlift recently taking on the Niftylift range of trailer mounted platforms. Powerlift's other ranges include the Italian built Easylift spiders and a range of vehicle mounted equipment.

Malcolm Kitt hinted that the company might soon have another new range of machines to offer customers,
