Powerscreen intends to use the forthcoming Hillhead trade show to introduce its latest heavy duty scalping screen in the shape of the Powertrak 750. According to the company, the new machine is a multi-purpose scalping unit that has been robustly constructed and aimed towards heavy duty scalping in applications such as blasted rock, overburden, and processing construction and demolition waste.

Powerscreen says that the machine’s lively screening action allows the 750 scalper to be equally effective for fine screening applications such as crusher runs and topsoil.

Power comes as standard from a Deutz D914, but can be supplied with a fuel efficient Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Final Cat C3.4 unit. The Powertrak 750 features a vibrating grid feed-in width of 4.4 m (14.5 ft), allowing it to be easily fed using an excavator, loading shovel or grab.
