Crane company Prangl Hungaria Kft on set of the Hollywood film, 'Die Hard – A Good Day to Die' with Bruce Willis

Crane and transport company Prangl Hungaria assisted in the production of new Hollywood film, Die Hard – A Good Day to Die.

Prangl has been a partner to the Hungarian film industry for many years, the company said, helping out by supplying cranes and mobile platforms.

For the most recent film project, Prangl provided 100 work platforms and 16 mobile cranes in capacities 25-500 tonne . The cranes were used to assist with the film sets and to position the lighting. One of the 95 t telescopic cranes will feature in the film, the company said.

"No other Austrian crane company has managed such a feat. A very special honour and pleasure for us", confirmed Prangl's managing director Christian Prangl.

The fifth part of the Die Hard series Die Hard – A Good Day to Die was first shown in European cinemas on 14 February.
