Finnish rental company Ramirent said Anna Hyvönen, its executive vice president of north central Europe, is to leave the company at the start of the second quarter of 2016.

It said Ms Hyvönen had left for a leading position in another industry, but did not stipulate where. Anna Hyvönen has been a member of Ramirent's group management team since 2012. A search for her successor has started, according to the company.

Ramirent president and CEO Magnus Rosén said, "I would like to thank Anna for her contribution over the past years, in leading our segment Finland and helping to drive synergies throughout the North Central Europe market area. I wish her the very best in her future endeavours."
