Finnish rental company Ramirent has reached an agreement with contractor NCC Roads (also based in Finland) to supply a range of equipment to support its road building projects.

Ramirent said it would deliver rental equipment from rollers to repair containers for asphalt plants. It said the agreement would see it strengthen its position within Finland’s infrastructure construction industry, while it would also invest in new fleet especially suited for the asphalt business.

NCC Roads managing director Petri Järvensivu said the agreement helped the company secure cost-efficiency and provided access to a modern and safe fleet.

“Renting our fleet also has ecological benefits: we get more users for the same machine, which is in line with NCC’s principles of sustainable development.”

And Ramirent Finland executive vice president Anna Hyvönen said, “Our cooperation strengthens the strong current customer relationship we have with the NCC Group and gives Ramirent the chance to develop better services for the asphalt sector.”

Ramirent has 288 customer centres in 10 countries.
