Recycler boosts fleet with Arocs

A United Kingdom-based recycling company has added 14 vehicles to its fleet from Sparshatts Truck & Van.

Arocs 2648 - Waste-A-Way (8)

Waste-A-Way was established in 2002 and has put together an impressive customer portfolio in the years since

The 14 Mercedes-Benz Arocs delivered to Waste-A-Way replace 10 trucks of the same make that had been in service with the company for the previous four years.

The operator, which has two depots in the south and east of England, collects commercial and domestic waste from transfer stations located across the counties of Essex and Kent.

Most of this waste is then taken to recycling centres, but the Arocs have been specified for the tough conditions encountered when landfill must be used.

Established in 2002, Waste-A-Way has since compiled an impressive portfolio of public sector and commercial customers, including Essex County Council.

“With Sparshatts’ support, Mercedes-Benz trucks work really well for us,” said director Ian Whitehair.

“Particularly the Arocs, which is impressively strong and robust, so ideally suited to our kind of work.”
