The MPR system is designed to give users the benefits of a conventional self-propelled work platform with the off-road mobility of a telescopic handler, and the on road performance of a truck-mounted platform

The new MPR15 and MPR18 extends the concept to high capacity applications and a larger deck operation. Driving from the cab or from the platform the machines have a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg (6 persons) and maximum working heights of 15.6 m and 18 m respectively.

The core of this system is a new self-propelled chassis, fitted with a cab, telescopic boom, personnel basket and hydro-pneumatic suspension. The idea is that the MPRs can get to site more quickly that a conventional self propelled platform but has much better off-road performance than truck-mounted platforms, which will reduce time and labour costs. All MPR models are compliant with the international EN 280 standards for powered access machines

The 4 m by 2 m platform hydraulically rotates up to ±180° through its vertical axis. Standard equipment includes a 220 V outlet with a mains switch at the bottom of the boom, and a hose through which either air or water can flow. Personnel access is through a front gate, whilst the rear can be opened to load materials.

The operator can control any movement with the proportional controls available in the platform, including machine travel (with automatic maximum speed limiter) and the all-wheel steering. When on site, the machine can be driven directly from the platform, maximum speed is limited to 6 kph with the boom stowed, and 1 kph with the boom raised at the full working height. When driven from the cab the maximum speed is 40 kmh.
