Søren Rosenkrands appointed COO of Riwal

Aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist Riwal has appointed Søren Rosenkrands as chief operations officer (COO) effective from 1 June 2012.

Mr Rosenkrands has 23 years experience in the rental industry and 11 years with Riwal, whom he joined in Denmark in 2001. He was most recently Riwal's regional director of the Nordic region, Germany, and Poland and has been the chairman of the Danish Rental Association since 2008.

As COO, Mr Rosenkrands will be responsible for Riwal's operations, including fleet ,anagement, technical, safety, procurement and business analysis.

Riwal said he would set annual budgets and goals for each area of responsibility; identify oppotunities to improve performance; and, as a member of the executive board, identify cross-discipline improvement opportunities for Riwal.

Mr Rosenkrands will report to Norty Turner, CEO, and will be based at Riwal's headquarters in Dordrecht.
