Foot safety in the workplace has just taken a leap with the launch of a reusable overshoe.

Safety Toes include chromium steel toe caps designed to withstand energy impacts in excess of 100 joules.

Manufactured to ISO9001 in North America, they meet or exceed all current regulations, including EN12568 and OSHA requirements, according to UK importer MIS.

A company spokesman said the “brand new concept” was an “ideal alternative for employees, plant visitors, temporary staff, management, clerical staff and salesmen, who need PPE. In use with such multinationals as British Aerospace and Trelleborg, they are a cost effective, lightweight and hygienic protection for all shoe sizes.”
