Turkey's biggest heavy-lift specialist, Sarilar Group, will further expand its fleet of Liebherr mobile cranes in 2012.

The Sarilar Group uses almost entirely Liebherr cranes for its domestic and overseas workload, and will add a new LR 1350 to its fleet this year.

The crawler crane LR 1350/1 offers a 120 metre hook height with main boom, 150 m working height with fly-jib and up to 104 m overall reach. It has a lifting capacity of 350 tonnes using a derrick boom and telescopic suspended counterweight or ballast trailer.

Sarilar today boasts a fleet of 250 cranes, including telescopic mobiles, truck-mounted cranes, lattice jibs, crawler cranes and harbour cranes.

A Liebherr LTM 1040 with a capacity of 40 tonnes is the company's smallest crane while an 800 tonne Liebherr LTM 1800 is the largest. The most recent Liebherr purchase has been an LR 1750, a 750 tonne model, which joined the fleet about a year ago. A new LR 1350 will join the other two LR 1350s in the fleet during 2012.

The company is active in the renewable energy sector, according to Sarilar Group's founder and chairman, Hanifi Gurbuz, working on installing wind turbine parks, thermal power plants and natural gas power plants.
