Satrazemis moves to United Site Services

United Site Services (USS), one of the largest portable toilet and temporary fencing rental businesses in the USA, has appointed former BlueLine Rental CEO Asterios Satrazemis as its new CEO. Also joining is former BlueLine CFO Scott Jamroz, who becomes CFO at USS.

Satrazemis succeeds Ron Carapezzi, who was President and CEO since 2009 and who will become the company’s Chairman and remain a part owner. Based in Westborough, Massachusetts, USS was acquired by Platinum Equity in August 2017 and it claims to have the largest largest fleet of portable toilets in the country, rented from more than 100 locations.

The moves by the two executives follows the sale of BlueLine to United Rentals in the final quarter of 2018. BlueLine was the fourth largest general equipment rental company in North America and was sold to United for US$2.1 billion.

“Since we acquired USS, the business has proven to be a strong platform for growth, both organically and through M&A, with significant untapped potential ahead,” said Platinum Equity partner Louis Samson.

Satrazemis has many years of experience in the rental sector. Before joining BlueLine he held senior positions at Aggreko, including President of its Americas operation.
