Demolition equipment and crane manufacturer Sennebogen is expanding its operations by investing in a new customer service centre in Germany.

Spread over an 87,000 sq m (936,000 sq ft) site, the development will comprise two office buildings, spacious halls and a state-of-the-art spare parts warehouse.

Sennebogen is investing over €25 million (US$28.1 million) in the new facility, which will be located in the municipality of Steinach/Landkreis Straubing in Lower Bavaria.

The company, which employs around 1,600 people around the world, said that in the future it would bundle its service activities into spare parts, customer service and Sennebogen Vertriebs.

The construction, which is due to be completed by the end of 2020, will help to further develop Sennebogen’s growth and service strategy.
