Described by Sessler as a strategic move that will expand its operational reach, the purchase of the O’Rourke construction division includes the division’s branch in the Owego, New York.

The addition of the branch is expected to significantly increase Sessler’s capabilities in the area, further building on its established presence in New York’s Oriskany area and in Macedon, where the company is headquartered.

Tim O’Rourke. President of O’Rourke Incorporated, has now also joined the Sessler team as its Senior Project Manager. Tim will oversee projects from estimation to completion, and will be responsible for pre-bid strategy, subcontractor management, materials and equipment procurement, and project health and safety and planning.

Sessler said: “With over three decades of experience in industrial project management, hazardous waste handling, soil remediation, asbestos abatement, demolition, and safety, Tim brings invaluable expertise to SES.

“He has a proven track record of successfully managing numerous projects and building strong relationships with key institutions agencies, and engineering firms.”

Sessler, which was founded in 2016 and has since become key operator in the State’s abatement, remediation and demolition industry, added: “With the addition of O’Rourke Incorporated’s construction division, SES is well-positioned to broaden our service offerings, in line with our commitment to excellence and innovation, enhancing our ability to serve our diverse clientele across southern and central New York.”
