Effective immediately, the new partnership is a continuation of what Sinoboom describes as an “extensive research and cooperation” effort carried out by the respective companies over the last 12 months.

In its role, Falcon Lifts will continue to build spider lifts for Sinoboom, while Sinoboom will distribute them as its own brand both in China and abroad, with the exception of the USA, Canada and Denmark.

Commenting on the agreement at global trade show Bauma, Susan Xu, CEO of Sinoboom, said, “This agreement is part of Sinoboom’s total commitment to providing its global customer base with a complete range of MEWPs.

“We expect the combination of Falcon high quality design with Sinoboom’s worldwide customer base and after sales support to make this a great success.”

One result of the collaboration over the last year is currently on show at Bauma, with visitors to the Sinoboom stand given a first look at the hybrid SPA33HJ spider lift, which the two companies developed together.

Already available in China, the machine is making its European debut at the show prior to being rolled out across Europe in the future.

Elsewhere on the Sinoboom stand, a range of electric powered access equipment, which the company says is a primary focus at the event, is on show.

14 of the 15 machines being exhibited by Sinoboom are powered exclusively by batteries. These include models that feature lithium batteries and AC drives, and several of Sinoboom’s heavy capacity Plus models, from the scissor, telescopic and articulating boom lift lines.

Sinoboom says the decision to move towards environmentally-friendly equipment is “a priority”, as it aims to “balance the twin customer requirements of excellent performance with minimised environmental impact.”

The 0808E scissor lifts, manufactured in Sinoboom’s Polish facility, which went into production earlier in 2022, is also being exhibited at Bauma.
