SMH appoints regional business development manager

Systems Material Handling, a distributor and manufacturer of lift truck replacement parts and accessories, has appointed Ed Cobb as its Midwest regional manager of business development. Cobb has worked in sales, marketing, negotiation and management for more than 25 years. Cobb will work with customers in North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.

"The addition of Ed will support our overall sales efforts while his knowledge of the material handling industry will help us continue to evolve into the world's elading supplier of aftermarket parts," said John Gaughan, director of business development. "We are excited to have him on the team and feel his experience and industry knowledge will work well to support our existing customers and business model."
