Located in North East England, an area steeped in manufacturing history, Snorkel has been building from its UK site since 2006. The facility includes fabrication, a semi-automated powder coat facility, assembly lines, and testing facilities and ships its products worldwide.

David Graham, General Manager of Snorkel Europe, said, “We are delighted that our products can now carry the Made in Britain Mark.

“Snorkel has been producing access platforms from this facility for almost two decades, shipping products made here to the UK, Europe and beyond. Many UK and European rental customers still like to buy British as they know the machines come with local product support direct from the factory.”

The UK manufacturing sector contributes over UK£200 billion annually and provides 2.6 million jobs. Snorkel, at its Vigo Centre in the North East, employs over 200 people, retaining essential skills and supporting the local community.
