Snorkel component manufacturer invests in Snorkel lift

PB Machine Tech in the Republic of Ireland has added a Snorkel A38E electric articulated boom to its fleet.
A manufacturer of precision hydraulic cylinders and machine components, PB Machine Tech is based in Bagenalstown in County Carlow and is itself a supplier of the cylinders used in Snorkel’s access equipment.
The company, which has been supplying Snorkel and its associated companies with components for around 25 years, purchased the A38E in order to carry out regular maintenance tasks at its manufacturing plant.
Lily Holmes, managing director of PB Machine Tech, said, “Snorkel has been a loyal and highly valued customer for many years, and our team are very familiar with the brand. So, when it was time to purchase a boom lift for our facility, we knew exactly where to go.”
According to Snorkel, the electric boom was chosen by for its compact dimensions and simple design.
PB Machine Tech’s new model has a maximum working height of 13.5m and a platform capacity of 215kg. Fitted with eight 6V 220Ah batteries, the machine is also equipped with an on-board diagnostics display, non-marking tyres and is suitable in indoor and outdoor use.
The machine was supplied and delivered to PB Machine Tech by local dealer Ahern Ireland.
