Socage grows Africa market

15 December 2013

Italian manufacturer Socage has reported sales of 98 platforms in the African market in the last 12 months, as the company continues to work on expanding its international reach.

According to Socage, it aims to build new commercial relationships and continue growth in Africa as the continent moves towards modernisation.

Gabriele Canovi, sales agent of the south African area, said, “The Socage truck-mounted access platform is a highly appreciated product, especially in the African market, thanks to its simplcity of use.

"We have been analysing the interest for our products [in different parts of the world] and we have been concentrating our efforts to get to areas where aerial work platforms are still unknown.”
