Speedy appoints new CFO

UK-based rental firm Speedy Hire has appointed James Bunn as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will start in the role on 14 September, 2020.

Bunn replaces Chris Morgan, who stepped down as the group’s finance director on 31 July, 2020.

Most recently, Bunn has worked as CFO of the UK Digital division of GVC Holdings, based in Gibraltar.

He joined Ladbrokes in 2012 as Finance Director for its UK Digital business and has subsequently held senior finance positions within Ladbrokes Coral and then, following its acquisition, within GVC.

Prior to this, Bunn was employed by TUI Travel from 2001, including as Finance Director: Commercial from 2008 to 2012.

He has also held finance positions with Tiny Computers and Hertz Leasing.

Bunn is a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
