Terex acquisition

06 January 2009

Terex has acquired Hydra platforms via its Bid-Well operation. The acquisition, in August of last year, will allow Terex Roadbuilding to offer contractors a leading line of inspection and road building self-erecting, under bridge access equipment in addition to bridge pavers, work bridges and texture/curing machines.

“The partnership of Bid-Well and Hydra Platforms creates an incredible value chain for the company and industry,” said Rob Drew, site director for Bid-Well.

“Being paired with Bid-Well and with the power and recognition of Terex behind us, we’re looking to serve many more customers in the global market,” said Garth McGillewie Junior, director of Hydra Platforms.
