Father and son, Peter and Arne Bosman, decided to write a book on cranes following an unsuccessful trip to the local library to find Arne (6) a book to help him build a Lego crane. The Bosmans requested information from crane manufacturers and equipment users around the world to compile this basic i n t r o d u c t i o n t o lifting machines. The book looks at mobile, tower, crawler, offshore and air cranes, explaining them in terms understandable to youngsters but also of interest to adults.
