Companies were asked for their aerial work platform related turnover for the year 2005. Where data were not supplied, or where company accounts do not provide complete information (eg, Time Manufacturing), Access International has made its own estimates after consulting industry sources. Our thanks to all companies and individuals who supplied information.

All conversions into US$ used exchange rates on 31 December 2005. That is:

¥100 = US$0.8496

C$1 = US$0.8614

UK£ = US$1.72

The list is a powered access top twenty, so does not include manufacturers of non–powered access equipment such as ladders, scaffold towers and scaffolding.
