Thomas has edited the magazine since the start of 2019 and before that spent two years as Deputy Editor of KHL’s International Construction and Construction Europe titles. He is leaving to take up an apprenticeship as a woodsman, learning to manage woodlands sustainably.

“It’s been a pleasure working at KHL and IRN, and I’m sorry to be saying goodbye to a lovely group of people at the company and in the wider industry,” said Thomas. “It’s been a fascinating sector to learn about, but I look forward to this new chapter since woodlands have long been a passion of mine. My thanks to all in the industry and my best wishes for the future.”

Murray Pollok, IRN’s Managing Editor, said; “We are sorry to see Thomas go, but happy that he is fulfilling his long-held ambition with the apprenticeship. We wish him good luck and success for the future.”

A new editor of IRN will be announced soon. In the meantime, to contact the magazine for editorial matters, please e-mail murray.pollok@khl.com, or call Murray on Tel: +44 (0)1505 850043, Mobile: +44 (0)7950 021023.
