The Genie S-85 telescopic boom helps lift the Rockefeller Centre Christmas tree into place

The Connecticut branch of Tri Lift helped New Yorkers get into the Christmas spirit earlier this month, delivering the Rockefeller Centre Christmas tree to its seasonal home.

The 76-ft Norway spruce, which will be decked in more than 45,000 LED lights for the holidays, was transported by flatbed trailer from Connecticut to New York on November 8.

Genie dealer Tri Lift then provided an S-85 telescopic boom, working in tandem with a truck crane, to help lift the tree into place.

The tree raising was streamed live through New Your City TV station’s website.
