Cat Works Tools has added three new demolition and sorting grapples to its G300 GC series

Cat Work Tools has added to its G Series demolition and sorting grapples with the introduction of the 814 kg (1791 lb) G310 GC for 10 to 15 tonne carriers, the 845 kg (1,859 lb) G313 GC for 12 to 16 tonne carriers and the 1,142 kg (2,513 lb) G315 GC for 15 to 19 tonne machines.

They are available with a fixed upper head or with a top plate for mounting an adapter bracket, which allows them to be exchanged among multiple carriers. Designed specifically for demolition and sorting applications, the new grapples feature low height and a durable shell and hinge design in their construction. Hydraulic components are fully protected and the one piece push bar provides powerful closing forces for the grab shells.

The G300 GC series grapple also features hydraulic 360-degree rotation to allow the grapple to approach material from virtually any angle and also minimising the need to move the carrier. The perforated shells offer optimal view during operation and the square design allows maximum accessibility to material. The smooth inner surface of the shells and their high clearance promote optimal loading.

Maintenance panels on the G300 GC grapples provide easy access to main components, and weekly service intervals and easily accessible lubrication points help keep downtime to a minimum. Replaceable, abrasion-resistant cutting edges are standard.
