The company, which produces pumps for clear water, sewage and mud water for use in multiple sectors, recently delivered its first one-hour free online training session via Microsoft Teams.

Broadcast live, the session focused on pump maintenance and provided both technical knowledge and key information on pump operation.

The manufacturer said it wanted to enable users to carry out maintenance work themselves and that the modular design of its pumps made teaching technical knowledge comparatively easy.

Tsurumi said the decision to provide online training came about after it had to reduce its on-site user training sessions, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tsurumi pump users looking to benefit from the free training, can do so without registering via Microsoft App. The manufacturer also publishes a link on its Facebook and LinkedIn social media pages for each new training session.
