Volvo Rents appoints Mike Crouch to acquisitions role

25 May 2011

Volvo Rents has promoted Michael Crouch to the new position of vice president, business development, responsible for pursuing rental acquisitions in North America.

The appointment supports Volvo Rents' new strategy, under which it will operate both franchise rental operations and establish Volvo-owned stores. Volvo Rents has recently been de-merged from the Volvo Construction Equipment business and is now operated as an independent Volvo AB subsidiary.

Mr Crouch was previously vice president of operations for Volvo Rents' North American operation, and from 2002 and 2004 was in charge of Volvo Rents European business.

"Mike Crouch has done an excellent job leading our operations team for the past several years", said Scott Hall, Volvo Rents recently appointed president and chief executive officer, "I am pleased that he will be leading this important initiative for Volvo Rents".
