Germany-based rental company Zeppelin Rental has launched ecoSolutions, a new brand for its range of green services.

Under the new brand the company is making its entire range of climate-friendly, energy-efficient and resource-saving services available, including the hydrotreated vegetable oils (HVO) supply for rental machines, smart supply and disposal logistics, its Rental+ app for equipment sharing and digital traffic solutions.

The company said the launch marks a significant step in its commitment to sustainability and provides a “perfect and innovative answer” to increasing demand for sustainable solutions in construction.

Much of the services available under the new brand are already part of the Zeppelin portfolio, but the company plans to add more solutions in the future to “complete the sustainable offering.”

It said that through ecoSolutions each service on offer can be combined to the requirements of a customers project, acting as a “practical toolbox” that enables the services to be grouped into packages.

Peter Schrader, managing director/COO, Zeppelin Rental, said the new brand represents an important step for the company; “EcoSolutions summarises our sustainable solutions under a strong and recognisable logo.

“The sustainability brand embodies our vision of being a leader in the green transformation of the construction industry and offers our customers and stakeholders clear guidance when it comes to environmental friendliness, energy efficiency and resource conservation.”

Dr. Markus Heidak, senior CSR manager, Zeppelin Rental, added, “In the future, it will no longer be about individual services or products, but about holistic solutions that make it possible, for example, to adhere to a certain CO2 budget, to ensure CO2-free work on a construction site or to demonstrate significant resource savings in a project.”

According to Zeppelin, the launch is part of its long-term strategy to offer greener solutions to customers and to further develop in the areas of sustainability and environmental protection.

Since 2011 it has offered green machines via its ecoRent rental program. With the collective offerings, Zeppelin said it is “laying the foundation for the green transformation of the construction industry.”
