The SIW 9-A22 model provides 800Nm of torque and is suitable for use with M16 to M24 nuts and bolts, and for pre-tightening nuts and bolts up to M36 in metal and wood.

It can also be used for setting larger diameter screw anchors, like Hilti’s HUS3-H14 and HUS3-H10, into concrete.

Producing a vibration of just 7m/s, Hilti said the low vibration would allow operators to work for longer.

The SIW 9-A22 also features Hilti’s double hammer gearbox and metal gear housing, which the company said make it more robust and extend its working life.

Complete with the manufacturer’s management App, Hilti Connect, owners have access to the power tool’s warranty, service and repair schedule, as well as a range of how-to videos.

Part of Hilti’s 22V cordless tool platform, the model is compatible with the existing range of 22V batteries and comes with a retaining strap and an E-spring to help keep it secure when working at height.

The SIW 9-A22 is available across Western Europe and in North and South America.
