Ramirent has appointed former Nokia and KONE executive Anna Hyvönen as senior vice president and managing director of Ramirent Finland and member of the Ramirent Group management team.

Ms Hyvönen, who takes up her post on 2 June 2012, will also take responsibility for the Baltic countries from the start of 2013. She is replacing Kari Aulasmaa, who is leaving Ramirent to join another industry, as previously announced.

A long-time Nokia employee - holding various international management positions at Nokia Networks between 1995 and 2007 - Ms Hyvönen joins Ramirent from elevator and escalator manufacturer KONE where she was heading its worldwide maintenance business unit.

During her career she has led maintenance business operations in Eastern Europe and later in Latin America, as well as been responsible for cost management globally.
