Uk rental company Witney Plant Hire Ltd has expanded its fleet of Bobcat compact tracked loaders with the purchase of new T590, T650 and T770 models from Promac Solutions Limited, the authorised Bobcat dealer for Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The family-run plant and tool hire business said it had added to its fleet following increased demand from markets such as solar power installations.

David Johns, managing director of Witney Plant Hire, said, “We originally purchased Bobcat compact tracked loaders for use by contractors carrying out planing and road repair work, where the very low ground pressure minimises their effect on the surfaces and the environment and simplifies reinstatement work.

"We are still very active in this market as several of our customers swear by the Bobcat tracked machines for this type of work.”

In combination with Bobcat planers and other attachments such as sweepers and trenchers, Bobcat tracked loaders from Witney Plant Hire were said to form high performance road and pavement surface repair packages, well-suited for repairing not only potholes, surface cracks and ice damage, but also for planing surfaces, cutting narrow trenches and for work around manholes.
