Loader crane distributor Palfinger UK has opened a service centre for London.

Palfinger UK distributes Palfinger lorry cranes and Epsilon construction, recycling and forestry cranes. It has nearly 40 years of experience.

The new depot is located to give easy access to London. It is on the south side of the River Thames, near the Dartford crossing and M25 orbital motorway, on the East side of London.

It is a 1,216 square metre service centre with eight workshop bays, overhead crane, testing facilities, yard, etc. Services offered include in-house assembly, custom body-building and after sales support.

Expanding backup

The new facility joins others around the country, in Devizes, Bradford, Falkirk and Leicester.

Commenting on the development Stuart Todd, Palfinger UK managing director, said, “Our senior leadership team has been working hard to bring this project to fruition for some time, and this step provides a long-awaited presence in this key location. As the official UK dealer of Palfinger cranes, this strengthens our ability to offer both existing and prospective customers, enhanced after-sale services, as well as improved access to our renowned sales, technical, parts and training portfolios. It will allow us to better meet the needs of more businesses across the region.”

Since acquiring Outreach Truck in 2018 Palfinger UK said it has become the country’s largest distributor of loader cranes.
