About the numbers

The ICm20 listing of the world's largest crane manufacturers is based on financial turnover (sales) of cranes and lifting equipment for the calendar year 2005 or, in the case of Japanese manufacturers, the fiscal year from April 2004 to March 2005. Information is from a range of sources, including financial reports (from publicly traded companies), companies' own submissions and data from financial research organisations. While IC strives to ensure the data presented here is as accurate as possible, we cannot guarantee it so the table should only be used as a guide.
