Balloo Hire Centres has added further Sinoboom lifts to its fleet.

The scissors and booms were supplied through UK and Ireland distributor Lolex.

Continuing their focus on zero emissions the investment is for all electric units and includes a repeat order for the large electric 5389RE rough terrain scissor model, electric articulated booms including the AB18EJ, AB16EJ and AB14EJ models, as well as the straight telescopic TB26EJP - one of the largest electric booms Sinoboom has available in Europe.

All units come fitted with rough terrain non marking foam filled tyres and either Discover AGM non maintenance batteries or Hoppecke low maintenance battery packs optimised for faster charging and longer work cycles.

Colin Magee, Powered Access Manager, Balloo Hire Centres Ltd commented, “Balloo Hire was the first rental company in the UK and Ireland to invest in Sinoboom equipment. From day one we have received great service and support from all the team at Lolex. We like the quality of the equipment; we like the business relationship; and so it’s been an easy decision to buy more Sinobooms for our powered access fleet.”

Julie Houston Smyth, Managing Director, Lloex, added, “We work extremely hard every day to make sure that we provide excellent service and technical support to our customers - and repeat orders such as this prove we’re doing something right.”

Collection of the equipment on Balloo Hire transport vehicles was captured and edited together into a mini movie which features some of the equipment leaving Lolex premises in Antrim, Northern Ireland.
