Haulotte landmark order with Australia’s United

Haulotte and United Forklift and Access Solutions are celebrating the 5000th machine delivered to the Australia-based rental company, following a partnership that began in 2012.

United joins the ranks of only a few other customers worldwide to reach the milestone with French manufacturer Haulotte.

Asia Pacific Managing Director for Haulotte, Damien Gautier, visited Australian city Perth recently to congratulate United on the achievement. “United are one of our top customers around the world and a true partner for Australia. Their feedback about the Australian market and support is critical to our success in the Asia Pacific region,” said Gautier.

For United, the landmark order is a celebration of the company’s humble journey from a smaller Western Australia-based business to one of Australia’s largest forklift and access equipment providers.

United’s Managing Director, David Maxwell, said, “When the Haulotte relationship started we were a small Western Australian business with two branches and only 20 employees. Now we have 11 locations across Australia and one the largest rental fleets in Australia, supported by 455 employees.”

Maxwell added, “The first machine we ordered was a HA120PX, which was a basic machine compared to the advanced versions available today. It was great to see that the Compact 10DX was our 5000th machine ordered - this machine is a true workhorse of the industry, with its 4WD capabilities and robust design.”

United has often collaborated with Haulotte, providing feedback on their products, suggesting improvements, or adjustments tailored to the Australian market.

“Haulotte consistently takes this feedback seriously, incorporating it into their manufacturing process to deliver well-designed solutions that meet our needs,” said Maxwell.

“Our philosophy is having quality product with quality people, so together with Haulotte, we are continually aiming to deliver this every day.”
