Kenichi Sawada is the new CEO at crane manufacturer Tadano Europe, taking over from Jens Ennen, who leaves the company.

The change takes effect on 1 January 2023 but Ennen will remain in an advisory capacity for a transition period.

Sawada is a member of the senior management team and a former head of Tadano Faun in Germany. He worked with Ennen during the restructuring and integration of Tadano and Demag.

“We want to thank Jens Ennen for his co-operation and contributions, especially for the major role he played in shaping the future of Tadano Europe over the past years,” said Toshiaki Ujiie, Tadano Group president and CEO.

Commenting on his new position Sawada said, “We will continue to expand our product line, improve the Tadano customer experience, contribute to community development in line with our social responsibility, and further advance our business activities to protect the global environment.

“I am very proud to be trusted with this responsibility and I look forward to working with the team in Europe, continuing the good work that has been started.”
