PartnerLift expands into Austria

Aerial platform rental company cooperative PartnerLift is expanding its network to Austria.

Flott Arbeitsbühnen has joined the Germany-based cooperative with around 90 truck mount in its fleet. Its founder Otto Stroißnigg was instrumental in PartnerLift expanding into Austria.

“I have liked the idea behind PartnerLift for a long time. The independence is retained 100% and at the same time you benefit from a strong and experienced network in the industry,” said Stroißnigg.

PartnerLift brings together small to medium-sized rental companies in Germany and provides them with shared centralised equipment purchasing, training and legal advise, along with a rage of other services.

As Ralf Gärtner from PartnerLIFT added, the idea of expanding PartnerLift into Austria came from discussions with Stroißnigg.

“The services that we offer our German partners are also of interest to many rental companies in Austria. Whether it’s joint purchasing, renting to each other or networking events and time to exchange ideas with each other - ultimately everyone benefits from membership.”

Over 20 years ago Flott started with a Wumag WT 260. Then Bernd Stroißnigg joined the family business and the rental fleet was expanded. The business now serves customers in Styria.

“Not only do we go well together in terms of colour, our idea for a PartnerLift rental company network in Austria also fits together.”

“Together, we want to win over rental companies in Austria for our network and establish our idea of a network of small and medium-sized companies in Austria,” added Gärtner.

“We are of course very pleased that Bernd is supporting us with his numerous contacts.”

On the future expansion of PartnerLift in Austroa, Gärtner adds, “It is not the number of companies that is important for us, but rather that the people fit in with us and want to actively participate in the network.”
